How to reduce tooth sensitivity

Follow the below given methods  to reduce your tooth sensitivity:

Change the way you brush
If you are not using soft toothbrush or scrubbing your teeth vigorously or you are not brushing for complete two minutes, your tooth sensitivity can get worse.
Use soft bristled tooth brush

Avoid acidic foods and drinks
Fruit juices, acidic foods such as oranges, pickles, red wine attack your enamel. Limit these foods and drinks. Do try to brush your teeth after 20 minutes of having them.
Ask your dentist about a paint job
Desensitizing agents such as fluoride varnish or even plastic resins can be applied to the sensitive areas of your teeth. This will help in reducing your tooth sensitivity.
Try toothpaste made for sensitive teeth
Toothpastes that contain salts such as KNO3 block dentinal tubules, thereby reducing tooth sensitivity. All these toothpastes are available in market. But make sure that you consult your dentist first.
